Ammena Dance Company is the largest dance school for adults located in Lethbridge, Alberta., with more than 20 styles of dance offered. Ammena invites students to experience how music shapes movement and feeling; to explore the connection between personal expression and collaboration; and to move. Our focus is on learning to love dance and movement in a safe and fun environment.

Ammena Dance Company is proud to present our 22nd annual production, An Explosion of World Dance & Music — a vibrant celebration of culture, creativity and community. After more than two decades in Lethbridge, this show continues to shine as one of the city’s most anticipated arts events.
Founded in 2004 by Lise Anne Talhami, Ammena has grown into a welcoming home for dancers of every age, background, size and skill level. Our annual show brings together over 24 weeks of training, diverse global dance styles and more than 900 audience members who share in the joy and energy our dancers bring to the stage.
